Mirona Radu is a seasoned film promoter boasting over 15 years of expertise in film production, distribution, and international film festivals. In 2021, she founded the Film O'Clock International Festival, uniting seven countries through simultaneous screenings. Mirona also serves as the Artistic Director for the ABIFF Animation Film Festival and the Palestinian Film Festival in Bucharest. In 2023, she established "Her Future, Her Story," a pioneering mentoring program for women in filmmaking. Since 2023, she has taken on the role of selecting feature films for the European Competition at the Alexandre Trauner Art/Film Festival in Hungary. With a diverse educational background and numerous residencies in film directing, she holds Master's Degrees in Film Production from UNATC Bucharest and Creative Management in New Media from the prestigious Kieslowski Film School. Beyond her contributions to the film industry, Mirona is an accomplished photographer with exhibitions showcased worldwide.
Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree at the National University of Theatre and Film 'I.L. Caragiale' in Bucharest, researching the topic of Film as an Art and Therapeutic Instrument. Her focus includes exploring intersections between aesthetics, narrativity, and cinematherapy.
